Want to take a course next year that educates you on something meaningful? Look no further.

As many of you are aware, it has come time to register for courses at UBC for the 2017-2018 academic year. We at Generocksity feel strongly that our time in post-secondary education is meant to be a meaningful, challenging, and rewarding experience. That’s why back in March of this year we developed and created a Philanthropy HUB as part of our Education Initiative. The goal of this new database was to give UBC students and alike a one-stop shop in ways they can give back and be philanthropic. This Philanthropy HUB contains over 350 charities, non-profits, social enterprises, clubs and initiatives at UBC, and university courses all of which align with our new 8 Education Goals (Animal Welfare, Child Development, Community Enhancement, Education, Environmental Sustainability, Health, Mental Health, and Poverty Alleviation). With our database, we hope to provide our users with multiple ways of giving back including monetarily, through volunteering, campus and city-wide involvement, as well as suggesting courses offered at UBC that will educate students on these topics.
This is where we come in today. Course registration can be a stressful time of year with many people unsure what to register for or what to take as electives. We want to make that easier for you. Within our Philanthropy HUB, we have over 150 listings of courses we have researched and found align with 8 Educational Goals. Looking for that perfect course, elective, or program that educates you on something truly meaningful? Look no further than our brand new Philanthropy HUB.
