Kai is a second year student at Western University, studying Kinesiology. He plans on pursuing physiotherapy or medicine when he completes his undergrad. Kai has enjoyed the challenges he has been met with during his first year running Generocksity in London. He is continually determined to profuse social philanthropy onto the Western and the London community through Generocksity.
Devon Bingham: Vice-President
Devon is a second year business student at Western University. Outside of school, Devon’s passion is sports and he has a number of years of experience in volunteer coaching. He has spent the last seven summers helping kids reach their full potential by teaching them physical and motor skills such as biking. Devon is excited about the challenge to start Generocksity in London to help positively affect the community.
Josh Weidman: Treasurer
Josh is a second year student at Western University, studying business and social sciences. Josh has been involved in sports since a young age being involved in hockey, baseball and basketball. If he isn’t in school or working on extra curricular activities, he will be found spending time with friends and family. Josh is beyond thrilled to start this adventure of introducing Generocksity to London and giving young adults throughout the London community an opportunity to participate in countless philanthropic projects.
Nini Bruekels: VP of External Relations
Nini is a second year student studying business at Western University. She grew up in Vancouver, BC being actively involved in the sports community, particularly through playing volleyball. Nini has a strong passion for helping others around her which stemmed from her past experience in running a Youth-in-Action program at her high school. She has really enjoyed being on board with the Generocksity London team and looks forward to its future success!
Elise is currently a second year student studying sciences at Western University. She has always loved being active and in her spare time you can find her running, skiing, hiking, or playing a number of recreational sports. On the community service side, Elise has been involved in a number of initiatives including organizing a Terry Fox run, volunteering with disabled children, and supporting homeless youth. This year with Generocksity, Elise has been involved with launching the Good Deeds chapter for the London team, which has included preparing meals for the homeless and a trip to the London Foodbank. Elise looks forward to continuing to give back and make a difference in the London community through the upcoming Generocksity events!
Ben Abnett: Street Team Captain
Ben Abnett is a second year Kinesiology student with honours specialization in Sport Management. At Western, Ben is involved in The Purple Spur Society as the Sports coordinator as well as a part of the Health Sciences Soph team. In his spare time, you'll find Ben playing various intramural sports or hanging out with friends. Ben is very excited to see the difference Generocksity will make in the London community and can't wait to see what the future has in store.
Matthew Stein: Co-VP of Production
Matthew is a second year student attending the University of Western Ontario. He is currently studying geography as he pursues his goal of attending the Ivey School of Business. In his free time, Matthew enjoys photography and listening to music. Matthew loves being part of the Generocksity team because he enjoys showing people how easy and accessible philanthropy can be for students.
Austin Gross: VP Promotion Strategy
Austin is a second year student studying finance and accounting at Western University. He plans on pursuing a career in finance after completing his undergraduate degree. As VP Promotions strategy of Generocksity, London, He is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing action plans to maximize event sales and develop a recognizable brand that appeals to Western University Students
